Who is the Centre for Textile Research?
The Centre for Textile Research (CTR) is a research center located at the University of Copenhagen, Saxo-Institute, that strive towards research on the history, archaeology and cultural studies of textiles throughout time. From our inception in 2005, we have conducted conferences, courses and research project that promote the importance of textile inheritance and textile history.

This website, Traditional Textile Craft, is a page dedicated to the projects and resources hosted at CTR. We strive towards opening and expanding the field for all interested scholars, students and whoever might be interested in textile inheritance.
